Will a NH-D15 fit in a Torrent Compact?

On the compatibility page it says it will fit depending on motherboard. I have a Strix x470-f, does anyone with a similar board own a compact? In term of heights, it should fit, even with the raised fan (RAM is g.skill trident z).

 

I'll switch out my aio for a D15 and will most likely get a new case when I get a new gpu and the compact just seems like such a great case, I just hope a D15 will fit. Thanks

I don't see any reason why it wouldn't fit, where are you getting this info from?

From their official site. I was also confused by this, hence why I asked here. Do some motherboards have the cpu socket way up? I thought the ATX boards follow that standard.

Depending on the motherboard's vertical CPU socket positioning, the cooler might overhang the motherboard top and therefore collide with the PSU shroud of the chassis.

You just need to measure from the center of the CPU socket to the edge of the motherboard if its less than 75mm it wont fit.

Why not get the NH-D15S?
