Gpu 8 pin connector help!

Go to solution Solved by Jorgemeister,

Look for sockets labeled as VGA on your PSU

"VGA"

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.

The cable is labeled pcie on the gpu side and only type 4 on the psu side. It's an 6+2 splitt.

That's... A Corsair cable. The G2's cable should be marked VGA on both ends, while Corsair's is marked PCIE and Type 4. They have a different pinout and will not work

Ok! Thank good I saw this before powering it on. I guess I should get a new power supply then. Don't have any other cables for it.
