You shouldn't need anything special. I would avoid finishes that were prone to holding static charges. Dust resistant finishes would be preferred.

Hey all,

 

Not sure if this is the right discussion group, sorry in advance. 
 

building a new media/gaming centre for the lounge. All bits bought but I’ve decided to build a custom case. My question is once this is finished & sanded smooth (please see photos) what should I treat with.

well that depends, different finishes leave very different colours on the wood.

what do you want out if this?
