msi 660ti sli

I'm running two msi 660tis in sli. Im pretty new to overclocking but every time I put even the slightest oc on my cards, the drivers crash. Im using afterburner. Any idea what is causing this?

in my testing ive found that ocing with sli on the 6xx series cards can sometimes be really sketchy, i have trouble going more then i think its 24mhz or something over my cards stock, how much are you ocing?

Im at work posting this so im not 100 percent sure. Im pretty new to overclocking. I read a few guides and this is nowhere near what oc he was getting. Not evwn close. I was thinking maybe bwcause they they are In sli

yeah i find ocing sli 6xx series cards is alot tougher then the 5 series, i was able to overclock the hell out of my dads triple 580's but i cant get much out of my dual 680's.. im running a single 680 right now cause i had to take my second card apart for a while and i can get awesome oc's out of the single so when i have the second card put back together im gonna test it by itself and see if it can hit the high clocks to.. i dont think its sli i think its that there is a different method needed when in sli

To be honest I shouldnt even worry about an overclock. Im running crysis3 flawlessly on the highest settings.

yeah it usually doesnt net you many extra frames.. most people i know do it for bragging rights lol

1. Update drivers to most recent.

2. Use other software like EVGA Presision X

3. Try to clock it now

4. If it works , great ; if not well you got 2 bad cards :(

Im using msi software. They are the latest drivers.
