Totally random thread.

I was remembering the computer rooms I use to go to to play LAN Counter-Strike 1.6 tournaments. When the 1.6 community frowned upon and hated CS:S. Or when Day of Defeat was still a mod. When DOTA was still Warcraft 3. When there use to be slumber parties at your local computer room and you'd have to pay 20 bucks to stay the night and they'd give you pizza.... Now that I think about it, that's kinda weird for a 40 year old guy to have a slumber party witha bunch of 14 year olds in a locked up arcade- NONETHELESS....

Nostalgia Ultra.

Was looking up past graphic card benchmarks. Doom III and Flight Simulator 2004 were beastly at 1280x1024.

While I'm too young to remember these days properly, I do know nostalgia, and man oh man have times changed quickly!

My GeForce 7025 can't even come close to the 6800 Ultra. :( It's basically a rebranded GeForce 6100, which seems to have the same performance as the FX 5200. :(

Why do you never buy anything new though?

I have $20 or less to my name. Not getting that job I had wanted really screwed things up. I could be more than half way to saving up for a new rig by now, if not more, if I had gotten a job in the beginning of the year.

I think we just found the next kickstarter project.
