Hello everyone I am new here and would like to ask your thoughts about how the recent new gpus rtx 30 series are starting to get power hungry) . And that mostly ever since the 3090ti of how hungry this gpu are becoming to the point you an industrial power outlet. There were rumors that the rtx4060 would have the same / more tdp than the rtx3070 this does raise some concerns. What do you guys think

There's a practical limit on how much power can really be shoved into something the size of a GPU without exotic cooling. With what we've heard so far I expect the upper end of the 40 series is probably approaching that limit and we won't see GPU power requirements increase all that much going forward. Certainly not as much as it has in the last 5 years.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
