looking to build a new pc and was looking for a cpu found this online : 

Intel Core i3-12100F for £98.50 was wondering if this is a worthwhile purchase for a little gaming and general use

It's a decent budget processor, but you should consider your whole budget instead of looking at a single component at a time. We could suggest donet full build lists if you like

im not 100% sure on that because i will not be purchasing all at once i was considering purchasing a few components every month or so so the budget could blow out

i know not very helpful and not the best way to build a new rig

Are you upgrading an existing rig or starting from zero?

I would recommend putting money aside until you can buy all at once. You will have the advantage of waiting until new products come out, as well.

Also, most places warranty and return windows start at the time of purchase. If you find the first parts you bought are faulty, and take a long time to acquire all the parts, you will lost some of that time.
