Budget (including currency): ~10k Eur

Country: Latvia

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: computer simulations, various custom programs, local server

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

I plan to build the following PC for my lab, but I was wondering if You guys could suggest a fitting PC case for it, as ive never really delved into the PC case world much before:

MB: Asus ROG Crosshair VIII Hero (WI-FI)

CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5950X

CPU cooler: Asus ROG Strix LC II 240 ARGB

RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws V Black, DDR4, 128GB, 4000MHz, CL18, Kit of 4

SSD: Samsung 970 EVO Plus, 2TB, NVMe M.2

GPU (2x): Asus GeForce RTX 3090 Ti, 24GB GDDR6X, ROG Strix LC OC

PSU: Silverstone Hela, 2050W, Cybernetics Platinum

Considering there are 3x 240mm radiators, I have trouble figuring out what kind of case would be fitting for a build like this, and, potentially, what kind of airflow configuration would be suitable for a 2x GPU system (as the radiator tubing has limited length). A case with easy cleaning/maintenance solutions would be preferable. Let me know if extra case fans would be needed as well, please.

The room its gonna sit in is well ventilated and maintained at a constant 21C, low moisture.

Thank You in advance!

At a first glance it seems to not support 3x 240mm radiators

Yeah, it seems a bit impossible to fit anything over 2x 240mm - one front, one top, but where do you imagine the third would fit?

Has to be something extraordinary, not ATX standard imo.

Yeah, this is exactly why I need help figuring this out 🙂

I guess the graohics card will have higher power consumption than the CPU. So a compromise could be to go for a case with 2x 240 mm radiator Support plus a big cpu air cooler like noctua d15.

Another solution could be a custom water loop. There should be companies who can build it for you if you dont want to.

My build:

CPU

Intel Core i7 9700 8x 3.00GHz So.1151

CPU cooler

be quiet! Shadow Rock Slim

Motherboard

MSI B360-A PRO Intel B360 So.1151 Dual Channel DDR4 ATX

RAM

16GB (4x 4096MB) HyperX FURY black DDR4-2666

GPU

8GB Gigabyte GeForce RTX2070 WindForce 2X 3xDP/HDMI

SSD

500GB Samsung 970 Evo Plus M.2 2280

HDD

4000GB WD Red WD40EFRX Intellipower 64MB 3.5" (8.9cm) SATA 6Gb/s

Power Supply

bequiet! Straight Power 750W Platinum

Case

Fractal Design Define R6
3x bequiet! Silent Wings 3 PWM

Another solution could be a custom water loop. There should be companies who can build it for you if you dont want to.

The tubing on the GPU is 56cm long, so I was thinking some large case with fittable radiators on the side or bottom would work, or a tall case with 4x12mm slots in the front. But realistically I dont know much about cases and what makes one quality, this is why I am here.

Regarding custom water loops - the budget requires special receipts from various sellers, a single offer wont be considered (as a custom loop wont be the same product from different merchants).

Edit - regarding CPU air cooling, this is my last option if I dont really find a good case for 3 radiators.

The mini version doesnt seem to have space for a PSU. But thanks for the suggestion, this case looks like soemthing ill get for my personal build.

The Lian Li O11 Airflow may support concurrent front, top, and side 240 radiators. It would also support a bottom 240, but bottom mounts can be problematic.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
