So when i use it on my steel series mouse matt it jumps everywhere and dosent work. same when i use it on a book. But when i use it on my wooden table it works perfectly fine. it started happening yesterday. i have installed the newest drivers. Any ideas? Thanks

Problems with laser mouse I guess.

I would also say that it might be an issue with the laser.

Cyborg Rat's have always had an issue with the lasers. Changing the mat can help, but not in all cases.

 

My RAT 7, has issues sometimes and I fix it by making sure the laser area is clean, use qtip cotton swab, or a bit of really soft tissue.

i think a metal mousepad should solve this issue, since it works better on a smooth surface.

I've also had this issue, with my MMO 7. 

 

Keeping the laser area clean works for me also on my plain black mousemat.

Same lazer started to go buggy as hell. became really random so i brought a new mouse

Its all about those volumetric clouds
