Microstutter in modern GPUs

Is micro stutter still something to consider with Crossfire and SLI setups? i'm guessing PCIe bandwidth would affect it but i seem to remember a few years ago some games just weren't playable because of it.

In SLI it's not so much. In CrossFire it's worse but I'm pretty sure it's still un noticeable

When I had dual 760's I didn't notice any. Haven't had a chance to CF my 290x's yet or anytime soon

Yes it's still a problem, but a much smaller problem than the mountain of compatibility issues and other weird problems you will run into with a multi GPU setup. (Speaking from personal experience)

My last SLi config was dual 780's though only for 3 days, was built to make money, only played BF4 Beta on it, it was terrible performance wise due to the game, but stutter was not noticeable.

Before this i had GTX 480 SLi, Some games showed a difference in render times from both cards giving me a lower looking FPS rate than what the actual FPS rate was.

My 7770's have had a few issues, but were sorted with driver updates and game patches, i have never actually had any micristutter.

I've got two GTX 670s in SLI and I have never noticed any microstutering. I'm very sensitive to frame drops and stuttering so I'd think that SLI is amazing now. I can't say anything about crossfire though.
