I’m running a i7-11700k and a 3080 both on a custom shared water cooling loop temps are great. 32GB ram, and an nvme M.2. I have a 2560x1440 165hz monitor and the max I average in war zone is around 100-120FPS sometimes it dips lower around 70FPS. Monitoring my hardware nothing seems to be overloaded CPU is around 30 to 60%. I change all the settings to low in game and no change to frame rate. Change to 1920x1080 no change to frame rate. Not sure what’s going to on another form people say my cpu is the bottleneck I’m not convinced that is the issue. Any other suggestions to look at?

Its Warzone, Thats completely normal. Its not a very good game to base any sort of consistent testing on as People moving, Vehciles, large map and a bunch of other variables make it quite hard.

I tend to agree with you however I have had people tell me they switched from there Intel to an AMD 5900X And went from 100 FPS to 170.

They were full of shit. They are straight up lying to you, unless they went from like  an i3/i5 4000 series CPU from nearly a decade ago till now. When you make a new system, a complete fresh install of windows, new drivers, less programs running etc, games will run nice. Its almost always down to whatever settings they had and what GPU they are using/upgrading too. A CPU Can make a huge difference only when it was Severely mismatched.
