Are these temps normal?

TungaM

My pc runs at around 42c to 60c idle. It's usually around the 42 43 mark doesn't deviate but it does spike sometimes for a second. I know it is within range but it doesn't seem like temperatures you would get from an AIO I do have a hotter ambient temperature at around 80 to 83 F. Anyone have any insight or suggestions?

Asus B550 F gaming

Ryzen 5 5600X

NZXT X63C

4 x 8 Crucial Ballistix 3600mhz

Corsair 5000D Airflow

Corsair RM850X

Evga GTX 1080 TI

6 fans (3 exhaust, 3 intake)

2 exhaust fans are on the radiator for the AIO and the AIO is mounted to the top of the case

What are your gaming temps?

Sounds normal though. Especially as exhaust for the AIO and high ambient temps.

I know the 3000 series has high stock voltage. I manage 1.25 static on my two 3600's at 4.2ghz all core. Maybe try an offset to help lower useless voltages. You could also play with fan curves and pump speeds to see where your sweet spot is for noise vs performance.

What's the temperature under full synthetic load , idle looks normal

no1 care about idle 😛  give it some "gas" and report back.
also: try to keep room temp reporting within same type of measurement 😛

"are these speeds normal?" Mechanic: "how fast did you go?" you: "no i didnt, i was parked"

You guys really think a 40-60c idle is normal? Then you want him to blast it to the temperature redline with a heavy load?

I would try a repaste of the cooler and check temps under load after that. 42 is not necessarily bad for idle but it is not good. I am in North Dakota and even in the summer when it is 80 degrees outside I idle at 20 with a 9900ks. Granted I am on a custom water loop. Ideally you want to be in the 20s or 30s at idle and no more than 80 under 100%. Mine on full load is about 65.

Overall there is nothing super concerning about your temps though.
