A few weeks ago my pc stopped booting. Lots of googling and I tracked the error to the TPM. If I switched off TPM I could boot my system. So I stripped down to minimum config and tried with both a win 10 and win 11 install usb stick and neither would start when tpm was switched on. Did all the usual bios resets, bios update, clear keys etc still no joy. I suspected the cpu but it could have been a mobo issue. So spoke to my dealer, Novatech, and as the parts were still just inside their warranty they did RMA them. On testing they agreed it was a faulty cpu as the board worked fine with others fitted, So 6 days ago they sent my Ryzen off to AMD for RMA. I’ve been told a max of 30 days, hopefully it will be quicker. Anyone know where my CPU would be sent from here in the UK? Just interested as post brexit sending anything outside the country gets very slow and expensive with potential for additional taxes etc.
