I AM WILLING TO RUN AMD ATHLON 3000 G APU . Can i run in my Motherboard ??

The BIOS needs to be the correct version to support the CPU, which you can find on Gigabyte's webpage for this motherboard.

To update the BIOS you need a compatible CPU inserted first

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

The motherboard supports it, but you may need to update the BIOS for it to work. The earliest BIOS support for the 3000G is version F40, which was released in June of 2019. If the original owner updated the BIOS at some point after June 2019, you should be all set.

If not, you'll need to update the BIOS yourself by getting a compatible CPU (probably Ryzen 1000 series) and then ideally updating it twice - first to version F31, then to version F40, as version F31 improved support for the on-board Q-Flash utility that allows for updating the BIOS without booting into Windows.

What is the version of the bios that is required?

Please use the quote button so we can see your responses.

From what I can tell, the BIOS version "F40" is required. If you didn't buy this motherboard recently, it will not have this BIOS version, but a much older version instead (unless you updated it yourself before)
