Looking for a new Router.

Napo5000

My current Router (asus RT-N66U B1) is over 10 years old and isn't fast enough and has been cutting out constantly.

I'm looking to get a GT-AXE 11000 however I'm slightly concerned about range and of course price as 500 dollars is alot of money.
I would want to go with a mesh setup but I'm concerned a 400-500 dollar mesh system would not be as fast as we would need.- and I haven't been able to find one in that price range.

If you have any suggestions on where to look that would be greatly appreciated.

Mesh setups are actually pretty fast these days. The biggest thing you need to think about when choosing mesh, is where you are going to place the nodes

Unobstructed lines between nodes would of course be the most ideal and they typically have quite a large range.

Consider the number of nodes you need, then start looking at which to buy.

Some recommendations are
1. Asus Ai Mesh AX6100 (These come in packs of 2) - range up to 5500sqft, WiFi 6 standards

2. Netgear Orbi AX6000

3. Netgear Orbi AX4200

4. TP Link Deco W7200
