My PSU doesn't fit well with my case. I have tried to install the psu and when going to plug the motherboard cable it will not fit. I tried putting the cables in first to see if that would help but it still doesn't there is a expansion slots for drives next to the area where the psu goes and I'm debating if I should remove that for more space or not. I really need help its my first build and I'm getting really worried that something is going to mess up.

What is your PSU and what is your case.

The 300A has 200mm of space for the PSU. GT 850w has a depth of 150mm so there's 50mm of space for the cables which should be enough. You have to plug in all the cables you need in the PSU first before you install the PSU in the case.

See the problem is that the motherboard cable just will not fit at all I’ve tried sliding the cable in from different spots but it’s very tough to get it all to fit. I guess I’ll keep trying today I just didn’t want to use too much force and mess something up.

Maybe we're misunderstanding you.

Will not fit.... how?

You can't fit the 24-pin connector through the hole they provided?  You're using the hole on the left side (as you're looking at the side of the case with the drive bays facing you) closest to the top?

Because I've never heard of anyone having this problem, so maybe you're using the wrong hole?  You run the cable from the PSU, to the "left" (towards the front bezel), around the corner where the 3.5" drive bays are, straight up vertical and just about when you think your cable isn't long enough, you take a right turn and push it through that hole.

I ended up realizing that I just needed to apply more force than I was to get the psu into position. Now the problem I am facing is the pc not showing up on my display even tho the fans and rgb for the pc is running.
