Should I bother updating my BIOS if I’m having absolutely zero issues with my build?

My concern is if updating it will suddenly cause some problems for whatever reason.

If it ain’t broke don’t fix it, right?

Or should I just update for the latest security features and such regardless?

I’m running a Gigabyte X570 Aorus Master (rev 1.1/1.2) on BIOS version F31o so this version is quite dated now but I haven’t had a single problem.

Thoughts? (I know how to update and all, just curious if it's worth it just to be on the latest non beta bios?)

I'd say generally unless you're having problems or there's an update to introduce support for a new generation of processors you intend to upgrade to.

You can generally get away with leaving the BIOS alone (at least from my experience).

Yes, no need to update. Updates usually just fixing bugs and compatibility. And in rare case adding non critical features.
