Computer wont post after upgrading CPU and MB

Hello,

I just upgraded my old i5-7600 to new i5-12400f and asus b660 plus. I have connected everything right(or atleast I believe) and the computer wont post. On the MB a BOOT and VGA led are on which indicates theres something wrong with them but I cant figure out what. I have reconnected both of them and it did not on the previous system both worked normally. Please somebody help me.

where the lights are, should have sdram, cpu, ect.... can you tell which light on

Yes, both boot and vga are on none of the others are on.

can you reset bios with the CMOS battery

I use hard drive and an ssd(the one that is smaller than hard drive but not that little m.2)

But i only connected sdd which has my system on it
