rtx 3060 and 1440p

What kind of performance can I expect to get in 1440p with my rtx 3060. I want to upgrade from 1080p but I'm afraid that my gpu won't perform. I'm not looking for high fps I'm happy along as it 60fps. I play a lot of indy games, strategy and Sim builder games and the odd mmo. Is it worth it to pull the trigger on a 1440p monitor. 

 

Bonus question what 1440p monitor is the go to these days. Located in Canada if that matters.

The 3060 is fine if you're not concerned with going over 60fps or lowering settings if it's more demanding like a RDR2 or Cyberpunk.

You'll be fine at 1440p, on heavier titles you also have the option of DLSS and FSR when it's available.

As for the monitor there's lots of decent options atm, i'd suggest whatever IPS display with a 144-165hz refresh rate you can get the best deal on. Don't be shy with lesser brands as they often use the same panel as much more expensive monitors, find one you like then have a look at some reviews.
