3090 Memory not cooling down.

Hello!
I've had my Gigabyte 3090 for a while now and never really had any problems with it before except for just now. I was just casually playing csgo when i heard my fans go up to max so i was wondering what was happening, that's where i saw that my gpu memomry reached nearly 105 degrees. Not long after i saw that issue my pc died from possibly over heating...

I've restarted it a few times and had it idle with side panel open and even windows open, yet my gpu memory doesn't cool down from 70 degrees idle. Like i said, i've not had this issue before as i even played yesterday with no such problems, neither have i downloaded anything new on my pc.

What could be the possible problems? Since i've never had this problem before...

i also see that the backplate is super hot yet my fans are not spinning...
