Hello , recently i built a new pc after old one broke , specs are as follows:

Intel i5-12400

Msi mortar b660m-wifi ddr4

Corsair Vengeance 2x16gb 3600mhz

Gtx 750ti(used from my old build)

Coolermaster mwe 650 watt gold

Os which I'm running is Windows 11

Whenever i connect hdmi to my motherboard and use integrated gpu I'm able to get display on monitor and also able to enter bios, but when i connect it to dedicated gpu system turns on , mouse and keyboard lights up but I'm not getting any display sometimes and whenever i get display I'm not able to enter bios menu when using dedicated gpu.

Can someone please help me with the issue, i bought all parts recently and want to debug if motherboard is faulty or gpu is dying.

As ez debug led isn't much of help , as light doesn't stay on all the time , just on boot when it checks for fault it lights up but after that it doesn't..

Thanks in advance for all help

I would first guess a problem with the gpu chain on the old card. Whether it’s the card itself, an issue with the gpu driver, or an issue with win11 dealing with the gpu driver I don’t know.  You could take 11 out of the equation by trying it on a 10 install. I don’t know how to get into safe mode on 11, (I hear it’s even worse than 10 which was already throw-things bad) but what safe mode does is lock all your drivers  and instead use Microsoft’s super-safe standardized basic ones.  If it works then (even a little, it won’t look as good) probability that it’s a driver/win11 problem goes way up.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Life is like a bowl of chocolates: there are all these little crinkly paper cups everywhere.

Tried with windows 10 , same behaviour as with windows 11, now gonna try to get a spare gpu from friend and check if gpu is at fault or the pcie port of motherboard is broken
