Xmp not working

Hello, I have bought a 16gb 32200mgz corsair rgb pro ram kit but i cant get it to run higher than 2133mhz, i can apply the xmp profile but in windows it still indicates that it is running at 2133mhz.

my motherboard is the Asrock b450m Steel legend an cpu is ryzen 5 3600.
does anyone have the same issue or know how to solve it?

What slots did u install the RAM sticks?

in a1 and b1

The first slot next to the cpu and the third

have you updated bios, drivers, anything you can think of?

can you try a2 b2? Also, did you already get a hold of another pair?

my bios is on version 4.30(the latest asrock bios)

ive tried and no result and the motherboard manual says the correct ones are a1 and b1

i can get them up to 3000mhz stable with normal overclocking, if i want to get to 3200 im gonna have to do the timings n stuff and since im not experienced with that at all id like to just be able to use xmp

update, i've reset the motherboard completely by taking out the cmos battery and the xmp  profile works now. thanks for all the help
