Okay, I have a Asus Prime B660M-K D4 Motherboard. On 21/04/2022 (Last Week) the latest MEI Drivers for my Chipset released on Asus Website for my Motherboard. When I download and install the drivers, I get a msg that my current drivers are more up to date than what I am trying to install, am I sure I want to continue?

Okay so WHAT? How did my drivers update themselfes to a NEWER version than what is listed by my Motherboard by the Developers? Should I just continue and install those drivers anyway even if they are "older" because that is what it SHOULD be running according to the Developers from Asus or do I just leave it?

Have you ever noticed Windows not being as responsive?
That when its downloading updates, whether you want or not. It does...

And its very possible the Windows provided drivers are newer.
(Doesnt mean they have to be the better choice however).

When i ask for more specs, don't expect me to know the answer!

So in this case do I stick with my Manufactur and what they put out on their website or do I just ignore my Manufacture? Is there a setting I can turn of to stop Windows from updating my drivers and just do regular Updates?
