Need help with xeon cpu's

Hello, I want to buy a xeon kit from aliexpress, and I don't know which processor to buy, I have tried to search for benchmarks on the internet, according to passmark, the difference is 1000 points, winning the 2683 v4 with 17388 points and losing the 2690 v3 with 16453, but i don't know if it is that better. Currently i have an i5-9400f in my setup, but i need more cores for video editing and other types of work while gaming or multitasking, i have seen some i7 and i9, but they are above the price of these mobo and cpu with ram kits, and the performance of these xeons are better than the i7 or similar to the ninth generation i9. So which one do you recommend? Thank you.

I would try to get 2690v4 as it is  20% more clock than 2683v4.

Be aware that these may have lots of cores, but they are slower speed (2-2.4ghz).

they would preform worst than what you have in most games if its just gaming. most games are not  optimized for that many cores
