well u see, i dont rlly have the space for another system, and it might seem completely overkill or however you would want to put it, but i have a Phanteks P500A with support for dual systems. Aside form the dual system power supply from phanteks costing around £200, I was hoping to try and utilise this dual system option, because it would be something cool and a good project for me, but also just something different. Ik it sounds mad spending alot of money on something that isnt going to do alot but i will evenetualy find other uses for this system. So aside form the PSU, id like to spend up to £250, and have something with a little bit of horsepower, but not loads.

Then my option would be amongst the best as it's expandable with a whole heap of modern cpu's too if you ever need more power. Just add like 16gb of cheap ddr4 (2x8gb sticks) and storage you need.

Hi, so i was wondering if i could get some help, im struggling to find an ITX motherboard for the lga1151 socket. I dont want to be spending lots of money of this board as i will be either putting an intel 6600k or an intel 7600k in this board. I have so far only found 1 or 2. Maybe im looking in the wrong plcaes, idk. but i cant really find anywhere online that shows me a list of itx boards for that socket. Anyway if anybody could help, that would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

George

Do you already have the 6600k or 7600k? If not it would be better to go look at a more modern socket as you can get cheap boards and cpu's that are better than a 7600k for under 150 for board AND cpu.

As for boards basically used is the only option here.

What CPU and motherboard would you recommend, for price to performence? Bearing in mind the Motherboard has to be ITX. I also dont really want to spend more than £200-£250.

Oh ok what is your budget?

You could get a used dell,hp,... tower and basically have a complete system (minus hdds) for less than 200$.
