Motherboard shorting?

Go to solution Solved by An0maly_76,

You should really list your full specs for clarity (CPU / RAM / Mobo / PSU / GPU / Case etc). Common issue these days is CPUs that are not supported by the existing BIOS without an update. Open air, your motherboard should be laying on a piece of cardboard or something else that is non-conductive. But full list of specs will help us to help you further.

Hello, Im currently building my new PC. I Assembler everything openair top test it. When turning in the psu, the Motherboard leds turn on for a quick second but then turn Off instantly. I allready replugged the Power cables, but same thing again. When pressing the Power button on the mobo, nothing happens. Anyone any ideas what to do?

The Psu is a corsair rm850x and the mobo a gigabyte z690 gaming x ddr4 ( both brand new)
