USB Hub doesnt work

My usb hub is not working its light is on and my usb stick doesnt work but when i connect my phone it charges

What USB hub do you have?

 

If it's a hub with type c ports, are you sure those ports support data transfer too or are just to provide power?

Its VOLK ML-CB26

Its USB 2.0 and its not a type c (my computer is too old for that lol)
the card reader and usb ports was working before but it doesnt work anymore I really dont know.

USB Stick works on behind of the computer.

No, i said that when i plug my phone to the usb port it charges.

It charges, but do you also get data transfer on the phone?

 

If it just charges, it's not a functioning USB port.

my phone sees it as a charger not a pc.
