Does a sensor emulator exists?

I would need to be able to emulate values from sensors. Is this possible? I found an old app from 2016 but DL is gone and I bet android has changed so much it wouldnt work.

Android is generally backwards compatible. Which version of Android are you talking about and which version of Android did the app support?

I tried this one: https://github.com/openintents/sensorsimulator

Was hard to find one and I don't know if it is able to do what I need really. I wanna simulate bumps to simulate steps/unit moving since the counter in an app I am testing has a custom one.

This does not seem to work
