RAM question!

I just checked my brothers laptops RAM speed.It is  set on 2933MHZ.If i remember correctly i have to turn on XMP mode to put it on max speed right?So is it worth turning on?

Checked something right now and there is 1 problem.His CPU is I5 10500H,I checked RAM speed and  it says  memory type is 2933 for this CPU,so there is no way to run more than that right?

It should work if the laptop manufacturer put in an XMP profile in bios.
