Ummm.. so I just need help as I am upgrading my RAM because I have a free slot. So, my current RAM specifications are DDR4 8GB 2400mHz CL:-17 and the RAM that i selected on amazon has DDR4 8GB 2666mHz CL-19. I just wanted to know that will both RAM work fine or is there some problem?

It's best to get a matched set. There's no guarantee when mixing RAM, especially with different specs. If it works, both will run at 2400 MHz.

17 cycles at 2400Mhz takes 7.08ns, 19 cycles at 2666 takes 7.12ns

Something is off with your math. It's 14.1/14.2 ns, not 7. Did you use the effective frequency, rather than the actual frequency (1200 MHz)?

Just get a set of 16gb 3200 cl16 or 3600 cl18 and be done with it, dont bother with anything else cause overpriced and you are better off tuning your rams for higher speed

if you want high ram speeds get crucial ballistix and tune it yourself, if you cant get ballistix then just hope for some hynix cjr/djr or buy corsair kit and get some trash b die

There is a high probability of success.

There are times where if you're using an OEM system (think Dell or HP) that you can run into issues if the RAM you're using requires a higher voltage than the JEDEC standard (1.2V). You're unlikely to run into an issue here though.
