Dialing extensions on macOS

I sometimes call customer service and my voicemail and some other things that require dialing on my Mac. The only way I can think of doing so is using a DTMF generator app on a second cell phone that is not calling (regardless of SIM state), and routing its audio through a virtual mic on the Mac. How can I do so? (since I don't have that second phone)

At least on my Android, putting commas in the saved contact number will delay before "pressing" any further keys (e.g. 555-123-4567,,,1234). See here.
