Last question  I promise. I appreciate your help and time so much.

How is this one compared the the others

It'll do the same as the others, though it has 8 ports, so would allow you to connect up to 7 devices to it.

The main thing to look for is to make sure they're Gigabit (all the ones linked in this thread so far, including that D-Link one you linked, are gigabit), so that you can be sure they won't limit the speed the devices are capable of.

So currently I have one ethernet outlet in the basement for my Xbox. I recently picked up a ps5 and would like to avoid using the wireless internet. Is there an easy way to hook up both consoles  with only having one ethernet outlet in the basement. I won't be using the two devices at the same time if that makes a difference.

Current setup

My fiber modem is on the main floor with the ethernet plugged in the back of the modem and the other end of the ethernet cord is hooked up to a ethernet port outlet in the basement. The rest of the cord is behind the walls.

You need a network switch.

You can get a cheap 5 port gigabit switch on Amazon for about $15.

Something like this. Just plug one port into the port coming into the basement, then the Xbox and PS5 into any of the other ports on the switch.

Does this switch automatically depending on what device that is plugged in is asking for internet. Is netgear a solid choice I'm from canada and see a Tp-link one as well witch is a bit cheaper.

It doesn't switch in the same sense as an HDMI or input switch does. All devices plugged into it can use the internet at the same time. For the devices themselves, it would be as if they were plugged directly into the port that comes into the basement, they won't behave any differently

Oh that's sick. So these are the two I see on Amazon canada

And

https://www.amazon.ca/TP-Link-TL-SG105-1000Mbps-Desktop-Gigabit/dp/B00A128S24/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?crid=2EH2MX4GGHY7E&keywords=5+port+network+switch&qid=1649969797&sprefix=5+port+network+switch%2Caps%2C63&sr=8-3

Go for the cheaper TP-Link one. They'll do the exact same thing so no point in paying more.

You can go cheaper if you don't care about the nice metal case: https://www.amazon.ca/TP-Link-TL-SG1005D-1000Mbps-Gigabit-Capacity/dp/B000N99BBC/ref=sr_1_6?crid=2GCBHVC42R7NC&keywords=5+port+network+switch&qid=1649969913&sprefix=5+port+network+switch%2Caps%2C133&sr=8-6

EDIT: Bear in mind you'll need 3 ethernet cables, one from the switch to the outlet, then one for the Xbox and another for the PS5, just in case you don't have any spare ones lying around.
