Ideally crucial ballistix since 4000 cl16 is pretty easy with just a lazy oc and all the way to 4500+ cl18 if you wanna go that far, but it may not be available for you

Ditch the garbage 2666 cl19 and ignore it

Otherwise they all look the same, though have a look at the subtimings and not just cas latency (cl) to determine which is best, lower = better

Go for whichever 3200 CL16 kits you like the most.

there the same spec and such so its really up to your  choice based on price and looks, otherwise they're identical.

sio  just not the G.Skill Aegis Series 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR4-2666 PC4-21300 CL19

On a Ryzen I think the good spot is between 3600CL16 and 4000CL16, with the later possibly down to 3800 if the Infinity Fabric clock can't sustain 4000MHz on your chip

i could go for 2x8gb kits and later on expand to 32 if ever necessary? not sure if i should go for 2x16gb. any thoughts on that? also would like to make sure if MHz are that important.

Corsair VENGEANCE LPX 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3600 PC4-28800 CL16 Dual Channel Desktop Memory Kit CMK16GX4M2D36K1 - Black

85 bucks for those

If you plan on gaming 16GB RAM are enough

Re clock speed 3600MHz is nice with Ryzen cause the internal "Infinity Fabric" that runs across the components is 3600MHz as well, plus it's not really that much expensive than 3200.

Gains will be in the 2% range tho anyway

awesome,  will get then 3600 2x8gb kit

With a 5900x it is better to get 32gbs.

With 8, 10 and 12 core CPUs, the more cores allows you to have apps running at the same time as you game without impacting the game.

With 16gbs the ram will limit what you can run at the same time.

So to me a 5600x/16gb setup makes sense for gaming only and a 5900x/32gbs setup makes sense for gaming and multitasking at the same time.

also if im not mistaken i heard i should put memory in 2nd and 4th slot?

That is recommended.

At first it was an ASUS only thing but now Gigabyte has adopted it as well.

My Z390 manual and X570 manual have that you can use 1 and 3 or 2 and 4, but in my Z490 and Z590 manual it shows only 2 and 4.
