I am completely lost at this point. After a year and a half of running strong, my pc started rebooting constantly. I’ve tried reinstalling windows, I’ve tried a whole new ssd, I’ve tried updating my bios. Nothing seems to work and I’m not sure what step to take next with a limited budget that doesn’t really leave space for paying someone to come try and fix my PC and tell me it works just for the problem to come back. If anyone has any ideas for why this is happening I would love to hear them… I just want to play Elden Ring.

Have you tried clearing CMOS?

What are your system specs(including brand and model),

did you have any blue screening before it went to boot looping

What settings were running before boot loop

I’ve tried clearing CMOS. Currently running a 3600x with a 5700 xt on an x570. There wasn’t any blue screening before the loop started it just started and then I began getting the “your pc did not start correctly” blue screen. I’ve replaced the boot drive and ram with a full new install of windows. No idea what the settings were at before this happened. The boot loop began in February but I had to go back to college so it’s been a while.

LOL.... anyway

If you can try a bios flashback.

I think that maybe your bios are corrupt. If clear CMOS didn't fix it...

Bios flashback was also ineffective, I had someone say it might be a power supply issue. Could that cause a boot loop? Also if I don’t try to start it for a few days it boots up perfectly fine and then starts rebooting after a few minutes and then it’s back to rebooting whenever the Mobo screen comes up

Most likely not. But what kind of PSU are you using?

That sounds like it could be an overheating issue. Like your CPU cooler isn't touching your CPU.

Power supply is an EVGA 600 BR and I dont think it’s an overheating issue. The max temps I would run into on my pc were around 63c under load when it was working and when i can get into the bios now it shows like 30c. Also whenever I can open bios before it reboots it won’t reboot out of bios.
