My computer has been showing disk usage at 99/100% for lengthy times with “system” being the highest user. It’s extremely annoying as it renders my pc extremely slow.

My drivers won’t update thanks to windows 11 upgrade but is that the issue or is there another problem causing the disk issues?

For starters, run Disk Cleanup. It will purge old temporary files.

If you never hibernate your PC, you can run this command from a command prompt running as admin:

powercfg /H off

That will disable hibernation, and remove an invisible temporary file the size of your physical RAM.

If you're still low on space, run a tool like WinDirStat to get a visual idea of what's eating up all your space.

https://windirstat.net/

(Run it as admin if you have multiple users, otherwise it won't be able to see into the other accounts' folders.)

You're probably just going to have to delete some stuff.

I sold my soul for ProSupport.
