Hi there, I just recently upgraded my PC. After switching almost everything my PC won't post. 

I switched GPUs, I didnt switch Nvidia to AMD. Or vice versa. I switched from one Nvidia GPU to another Nvidia GPU.

I changes CPUs, I switched From a Ryzen 7 3700x to 5800x.

I also did change motherboards. So I'm assuming it's probably the motherboard and I need to update the BIOS. 

I only re-used my M.2 Nvme which has my OS on it, a SATA SSD for games and RAM. 

 

If anyone can help that would be much appreciated.

does the motherboard have some kind of LED readout?

Put the 3700X into the new board, flash the new bios, put thew 5800X and it will work.

Use the flash bios button on the rear IO, don't need to put old CPU back!
