Doing an RMA of this card: GeForce RTX™ 2080 WINDFORCE OC 8G -> https://www.gigabyte.com/Graphics-Card/GV-N2080WF3OC-8GC#kf

I've been offered this card as a replacement:  GeForce RTX™ 3060 Ti EAGLE 8G (rev. 1.0) --> https://www.gigabyte.com/Graphics-Card/GV-N306TEAGLE-8GD-rev-10#kf

I'm told the 3060 Ti is at least 3% faster.

But the Gigabyte rep can't even tell me if this 3060 Ti is new or refurbished and if I'm not mistaken I think this EAGLE is an entry level 3060 Ti. So, do you accept the RMA or try to get a better graphics card from them? They will give me $930 CAD cash or this card. They don't have any other GPU to offer at this moment, but the fact that he can't tell me if It's refurbished or new has me feeling a bit unsure. I've been needing a new GPU since the summer of last year, maybe I should just go for the card instead of taking the cash or trying to get something better? What would you guys do.

Take that and go buy a 3070. You can buy a new 3070 for $1000 CAD pretty easily, and with how prices are dropping I'd be surprised if you can't get a 3070 Ti in a month or so instead.

When I last checked Canada Computers / Memory Express all they had was this card:

-Gigabyte AORUS - 8GB $899 3060 Ti

Sometimes they have deals on better GPUs but they sell out faster than I can grab one. The only reason they have this card in stock is because It's overpriced. Plus 12% sales tax puts the card at over 1k.

Also, I only have a 650w PSU - Corsair RMx (2018) 650 W 80+ Gold. Some people say you can use a 3070 or 3070 Ti with a good 650 w PSU, others say don't do it. So I am not really wanting to get a new PSU if I get a better / faster graphics card. I'm in a bit of a predicament here.

If you want to stick to a 3060 Ti, then this is an option. It's still overpriced but you still save money and get a new card. Either that or wait a month for prices to drop further (prices for GPUs are plummeting).

Never bought a Zotac before. How's their CS? How's this card better than the Gigabyte EAGLE? Also, is it a good idea to order something like this from Amazon with all the knock-off stuff you can find on there?

The EAGLE may be new or used, who knows. If It's new I'd probably just cave and get it. But I really hate the idea of possibly getting something used that maybe doesn't last or exhibits some kinda defect.

Zotac's CS is fine, about as good as Gigabyte. It's about the same as the eagle, you just end up saving $10. That said, prices are steadily decreasing, and if you can wait a couple weeks without a card that $930 will get you a lot farther than it is today.

What do you guys think about this card overall and for the price?

GeForce RTX 3060 Ti VENTUS 2X OC LHR 8GB PCI-E w/ HDMI, Triple DP for: $699.99 CAD

Do you think the price is fair? Is it a decent card? Ideally I wanted a 3070 but every local store I called was sold out. Plus, I don't know how I feel with trying to run a 3070 or 3070 Ti on a 650w PSU. It's probably fine but I feel a bit iffy about it.

I've been waiting for a new GPU since the summer of last year so kinda tired of waiting. That Gigabyte ransomware issue really hurt at getting a timely solution in order.
