Hello everyone, I bought a prebuilt pc from someone locally and it was good but then after a few months the pc turned off and it won't boot on so I contacted my supplier on why this is happening, he told me to rub eraser on the ram and so I did and it worked, after a few months it happened again so I erased the RAM sticks again until today it doesn't work anymore so I bought new RAM sticks since the RAM is the problem but it just turns on now and it doesn't boot up

Does your system have a clear CMOS button?

If it's an older system (or regardless, they can go even on newer systems), before you spend more money on components, try replacing the CMOS battery, which looks like this:

Does the PC turn on and won't boot or doesn't it turn on at all?
