Almost everytime i start my desktop sense I've installed windows (Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit, last July) svchost.exe*32 starts, I can get it to stop using my system power by closing in task manager, but I would like to fix it for real. Malwarebyte finds it and some other things that do the same, i assume they are all related?I have gone to the file location and removed it my self, but no matter what after the system restarts it is back and have to start all over again. I don't really want to do a full re-install because i don't want to re-download all my steam games, my steam games are on a separate hard drive if that makes a difference. I would like someway to just remove and fix the issues.

I think once a Windows file has been infected it's best just to do a reinstall to get rid of it. Sorry :/

You can try killing the process, which is harsher than merely ending task. Buuuut I'm fairly sure Windows will stop you has it is a critical function. You need to physically remove the malware at that C drive location. I think that might be difficult but that program isn't the real svchost.exe
