Ryzen Master for Windows 11

Ever since upgrading to Windows 11 Pro on all my machines, I’ve had a mostly positive experience. I enjoy the new UI, I’m not upset about little tweaks here and there to the right click menu changes because it’s easily fixable etc blablabla but I have one complaint: I can’t get Ryzen Master to actually work.

 

I’ve seen threads on the Microsoft site forums and on the AMD site forums that list potential fixes via registry changes…and they don’t fix the issue. Any time I try to open Ryzen Master I get an error either saying it wasn’t installed correctly or there’s a driver issue—paraphrasing here, but something to that effect. The AMD site doesn’t actually list a Windows 11 version for Ryzen Master, and I can’t see anything on an ETA for it…so is there a fix to get it working on Windows 11 that I have missed somewhere? I’ve done all the uninstall reinstall stuff, as well as the registry edits to the path within the file folders.

This is likely your issue. Things always seem to break during an upgrade and why a clean install is always recommended. Unless you did clean install and just using upgrade anyway?

 

My only suggestion is uninstall Ryzen Master and the AMD Chipset Drivers then reinstall the latest versions. 

 

Ryzen Master has worked just fine on my 11 system since October.

I’ve done what you suggested before and it did not fix the issue; if the fix is a clean install then that may be my next move. Fwiw this is the only real issue I’ve had

Final Update: for some reason, after uninstalling the chipset drivers then reinstalling the chipset drivers, then doing same for ryzen master and doing restarts between each step...It works now. I don't need to do a fresh install. I think it's weird that I had to do it the way I did, but I'll take it. Thank you for the suggestion on driver uninstall/reinstall--even though I had done it before, by doing it one last time in the most methodical way possible, I got a positive outcome!!!
