I Can Use 3 Monitors On My HP EliteBook 840 G8 But The Fourth Monitor Duplicates One Of The Others

It was my own oversight.  I didn't see or didn't select the correct display to choose to extend desktop.  I have fixed this and am pleased with my four display setup.

I am trying to run a fourth monitor on a HP EliteBook 840 G8 which can run three monitors (laptop screen and two monitors connected through a Thunderbolt hub via HDMI).  I am trying to plug the fourth monitor into the HDMI port on the laptop, but when I do it it will only duplicate an existing display.  Running Windows 10 on a machine (I do not have Administrator rights on) with an Intel i5 1145G7 and no discrete graphics.    

 

Can anyone help?

Intel's spec page says the CPU can run four monitors so perhaps it's just the method with which I am connecting the fourth display (via the HDMI port on the laptop)?
