Is this a virus

OK I may be overreacting here but I don’t know if this is a virus or if a litteral bug in my computer screen

as I write I’m putting my PC into safe mode and running acronis virus scan

i’ve wiped the screen and tapped and it seems to move when I tap or have the mouse around it so if it is a actual bug that it’s inside my screen itself but I don’t have bugs around here I am actually litlle freaked out by this

And I have not visited any sketchy website recently

Looks like physical debris on your screen to me.

 

Can you see it if you point a flashlight at that spot with the monitor switched off?

I can try but it moves around it looks like a red tick. I’m plugging in something else into that display and putting a blank background that way I can see if it runs across I know if it moves on my other display than it is on the computer

Legitimately what would work here i would perfer not to have ti get new monitor i know its a cheap one from moms old work but it works and money is tight atm

if you can see it with your eyes.. it's never a virus... so it's a bug.. pun intended...
