Updated GPU Driver -- PC Crashed and then drives started getting 100% usage

Hi, so I was updating my GPU drivers through Geforce experience and the pc restarted, and found out it crashed through event viewer, saying it was bugcheck 0x0000010e. So after that, I tried to reinstall my drivers It took a long time, much longer than it usually does and my CPU was at 100% usage and two of my three disk drives were at 100% usage and are staying there continuously. CPU usage went back to normal but drives were stuck at 100% for like 15-20 minutes and I'm not sure why. GPU usage when I only have chrome and task manager open was at 20%. What seems to be going on? Why would my Disk drives be going up to 100% so easily? Temps were between 30-40 degrees for both the CPU and GPU. I have tried using DDU with both safe mode and safe mode with networking. I have tried it with and without geforce experience when reinstalling the drivers.
