Cablemod cables required for GPU

Go to solution Solved by Bad5ector,

You need to get whatever number of pin PCI-E connectors your video card takes.

So just look at a picture of your video card you ordered or look at the specs, it will say what you need for power connectors. Just match that up with what you want from cablemod.

For example, my 3080 takes two 8pin PCI-E cables, so I could get either two individual 8 pin PCI-E Extensions or I could get a bridged 8+8.

Also, you realize you are looking at extensions right? Just wanted to make sure you knew the difference between extension cables and full custom cables.

I've just ordered a Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3070 Ti Vision OC 8GB GDDR6X PCI-Express Graphics Card and wanted to get some cablemod cables for it but I'm not sure what the correct ones are from the list on their site.  My PSU is  ASUS ROG Strix 850W White Edition.  The options listed for GPU cables on cablemod are in the image attached, can anyone help me with which one I need? Thanks!

Thanks for the reply! I was getting confused by the difference of the indiviual/bridged but I think I get it now (It takes two 8pin the same as yours).

And no I hadn't realised it was just extensions, thanks for helping me avoid that mistake!

Yeah, if I recall correctly their storefront can be a little confusing. But the full custom cables will have a drop down selection of all the PSUs they support. You pick your model and build from there.
