The motherboard is the component to change but that is what happens with prebuilts. They lock down the BIOS so people don't mess it up because a prebuilt is designed for someone with little to no knowledge of computers and just want it to work out of the box.

is there a component I could change to get rid of Lenovo's software that is very limiting. ex- the unchangable bios settings.

Nope. You would atleast have to change your motherboard (and maybe your PSU) and at that point might as well build your own PC.

Well the reason I went with a prebuilt was i found a price that was too good to pass up. Came with a 2080super and I9-9900k for $2000 during the great gpu depression

What are you trying to change?  There may be workarounds even with a restrictive bios.

Trying to put in better RAM. The factory RAM that comes in the prebuilt is 32gb running at 2666MHz and if i put in some Corsair Vengance LPX 3600 it bottlenecks it to 1666MHz

2666 is fast enough for a 9900k.  Sky Lake's memory controllers utilized most DDR4 speeds quite well.  3600 was really just for Ryzen, as it did a little better with faster RAM. Just return the vengeance LPX, it's not gonna be worth the hassle and possibly a new motherboard for little to no performance improvement
