CPU fan noise a lot

Cpu -i3 3220

CPU fan - 2nd hand Intel stock fan

It's not a normal high load noise but an annoying one. I have bought the cpu and fam second hand. However the noise goes down for a while when I adjust or tilt the case in certain direction or put something inside of it. It runs normally for some random time before I have to tilt it again.

Will it go away with cleaning fan or has it to do something with it's ball bearing since I have no Idea how old the fan is?

It could very well be dust buildup, or it could be an actual issue with the fan. Easiest option is to go about cleaning it and see what difference it makes.

The bearings are probably done. Lubricating such a fan isn't easy (molded, so you'd have to make a hole for the oil) and it's not a permanent solution.

I'd recommend replacing the cooler.

here's a video. I have a i3 3220 motherboard. Does all intel have same fan mount?

Intel has the same mount for LGA 1156, 1155, 1150 and I believe even LGA 1200.

But I wouldn't recommend spending on an Intel stock fan when there are far better cheap options.
