Radeon super resolution

Been trying out games to see what works and what doesn't, unfortunately the games I most wanted a boost don't seem to work but it is a nice bump in fps for what dose work so far.

You can see the lesser quality if you're looking for it but sofar seems to be close enough you shouldn't notice when focused on gameplay

wondering what the community has tried,. What works what doesn't and what your thoughts are

So far I tried

Working-Doom, Doom eternal,Portal 2

Not working-valhiem

Anyone know of any trickery to force it to enable or if it's possible?

Ryzen 5800X3D(Because who doesn't like a phat stack of cache?) GPU - 7700Xt

                                                           X470 Strix f gaming, 32GB Corsair vengeance, WD Blue 500GB NVME-WD Blue2TB HDD, 700watts EVGA Br

~Extra L3 cache is exciting, every time you load up a new game or program you never know what your going to get, will it perform like a 5700x or are we beating the 14900k today? 😅~

I thought RSR it was supposed to work with any game, because the game isn't even aware of it, unlike FSR. Enable RSR, then lower resolution in game and the driver takes care of the rest?

To my understanding it only works if the game runs in exclusive fullscreen. Those running borderless fullscreen need you to first set your windows desktop resolution to the RSR base resolution first.

You're right. I actually read that in another article but it totally slipped my mind 😅

Okay I found that using steam under launch options if you force exclusive full screen you can get it working on some other stubborn games,... except valhiem, still not working...
