Problem with my display resolution??

Greetings everyone.

So I have an monitor for some time now that I use which is 1680x1050 max resolution.

Today I boot up my PC like normally only to find my resolution all messed up. Turns out my desktop resolution (1680x1050) is different than my Active signal resolution which is somehow it set on its own to 1080p.

I tried using the List All Modes, method and also completely uninstalling and reinstalling my GPU drivers. 

The weird thing is that when I put any other resolution, for example 1440x900, it works completely fine.

Only when I set 1680x1080 I have the active signal resolution always set to 1080p.

I use AMD graphics card.

 

I know I ask for a lot but any will be appropriated.

Hello! I have seen things like this, I have some suggestions:

- Try a factory reset on your monitor

- Delete the external display cache in windows: https://winaero.com/clear-reset-external-display-cache-windows-10/

- Try a different cable

- Try a different cable with a different port type such as DisplayPort 

- Run DDU in safemode to clean all old GPU drivers
