Raid 0 or Separate Drives

joejoe0227

Hello, I have 2 Samsung 860 EVO 1TB SSD's and I've been running them separately for awhile but it occurred to me that since they're the same type of drive I could temporarily offload the data and turn them into a raid 0 but would that be worth it? Also, if I did a raid 0 would it be better to set up the raid on disk management in windows or see if I can do it another way? The drives are mostly used for gaming and a couple program files.

CPU - Ryzen 3 1200

Motherboard - MSI B350 Tomahawk

Ram - Corsair 4GB DDR4-2400 (1200Mhz) *3

GPU - GTX 1050ti

You can set up raid on disk management but I would recommend you to use the drives separately for that use case unless you aren't planning to store too much important data on the drives and can tolerate data loss if one of your drives fail.
