Pc update

Go to solution Solved by Jonathan Lee,

Oh yea SSD would definitely help lol. Here are some options you can go with:

Storage: ADATA XPG GAMMIX S11 Pro 1 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive  ($109.99 @ Amazon)
Storage: Western Digital WD_BLACK SN750 1 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive  ($129.99 @ Western Digital)
Storage: Team MP34 1 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive  ($91.99 @ Amazon)
Storage: Mushkin Pilot-E 1 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive  ($108.99 @ Amazon)
Storage: Silicon Power P34A80 1 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive  ($91.99 @ Amazon)
Storage: PNY CS2130 1 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive  ($98.05 @ Amazon)
Storage: ADATA XPG GAMMIX S7 1 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive  ($89.99 @ Amazon)

These would go on the space above the GPU

it depends what sort of power your looking for, compute/graphics ?

you didn't mention storage, do you have an ssd ? that's a good upgrade in itself.

Apart from the case which might still be good to go, you pretty much can change everything else.

16gb is better

450W is not much

gtx 960 is not much

No, motherboard should still be good, too.

If you don't quote us, we won't know you answered

So the psu is pretty craptastic and not a unit that is actually safe to use. So i'd change that.

You can't have a mini itx case and a micro atx board. What case is it? If you don't know post some pictures of it.

What are your goals with this sytem?

I’m mainly looking for graphics to be honest, every game I play I always have to put them on low settings so yea, I’m just guessing at this point because i don’t know what you mean, I’m sorry I’m not the brightest😅

I don’t have an ssd, I have a 1 terabyte.

so all I basically need to mainly upgrade is the ram, power supply and the graphics card?

I alway thought I needed a new motherboard because it only had 2 slots for the ram😅

Ahhhh ok so I need to change the psu.

I was trying to find the case online but I was able to find it at all so I’m just gonna take a picture of it.

To be honest i just want a pc that I can play games with normal settings. I don’t want anything that’s like high end or like top notch, I just want something normal that will last me and that I won’t have any problems for the time been.

Relatively easy upgrades you can do:

Upgrade to Ryzen 5 3600, max CPU I would put on that board. Should be a pretty significant upgrade

Upgrade to 2x8GB 3200mhz cl16 kit (or 2x16GB if you can afford it) and replace current kit

GPU upgrade would also require a PSU upgrade
